More than 25 per cent of employers recruit exclusively from an elite group of top universities, a two-year study of employers' attitudes will reveal next week. The GET Report: Graduate Employment and Training Towards the Millennium questions the logic in government plans to charge a Pounds 1,000 tuition fee when graduates' employment prospects vary dramatically between institutions and disciplines. The report, commissioned by Hobsons publishing, shows employers prefer science to arts graduates.
