Editors of 25 education journals met in Birmingham this week to discuss forming a national network that will help keep editorial boards abreast of the latest research news and share ideas on improving peer review practices.
It was suggested that a network might enable research findings on teaching and learning to be fast-tracked to the public domain through the media.
