* More inner-city secondary pupils will get a taste of university life in a new summer school network next year. About 5,000 sixth-formers will next summer attend such universities as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, Birmingham, Sheffield, York, Nottingham, Southampton and Bristol.
