Kenneth Baker, who opposes graduate tax (Opinion, 91茄子S , November 16), has not woken up to the fact that most graduates no longer vote Tory because of its policy on the issue. Even so, he is right. The rich should fund higher education, not graduates, many of whom are rather poor.
