The Higher Education Funding Council for England has issued a call for nominations for "new blood" clinical senior lectureship awards.
Hefce and the National Health Service trusts have committed ?100 million for up to 200 posts to be allocated through five annual rounds of awards. It is anticipated that up to 40 awards will be made in 2006.
