The Scottish Trades Union Congress this week unanimously backed a motion from the Association of University Teachers calling for codes of conduct on student employment to be agreed between universities, trade unions, student and employer representatives.
The move was recommended by the Cubie inquiry into student finance in areas with high levels of part-time student work.
