Sports scientists at Swansea University have measured the amount of force behind the man with reputedly one of the hardest punches in boxing. Sports science lecturer Iwan Griffiths used motion capture equipment on World Boxing Organisation world cruiserweight boxing champion Enzo Maccarinelli's punches. The instantaneous force equated to 3.5 tonnes.
