Jenks is Brunel v-c

Chris Jenks will be Brunel University's new vice-chancellor, it was announced this week.

He replaces Steven Schwartz, who has moved to Macquarie University, in Australia, and will take over from acting vice-chancellor Mansoor Sarhadi with immediate effect.

Professor Jenks, formerly Brunel pro vice-chancellor for research, said it was an exciting time and there was a clear collective desire to become a research-led university.
