Employers and unions this week agreed single-table higher education pay bargaining.
The Joint Negotiating Committee for Higher Education Staff, which met on Tuesday afternoon, also agreed a timetable for pay negotiations.
The meeting was attended by the Universities and Colleges Employers Association, the University and College Union and other higher education unions.
