Lord Rees of Ludlow, president of the Royal Society and Astronomer Royal, has formally opened the third phase of building for the Lancaster Environment Centre. The ?8.4 million building provides new office and laboratory space for the university and premises for companies wishing to locate into the environment centre or co-locate new activities.
