A private provider has made the bold claim that as many as half a million people could be studying its online MBA programme through Facebook within a year. The London School of Business and Finance project, which allows users to try out course material for free on the social networking website, attracted more than ,000 people in its first week. Students pay for the course, which is accredited by the University of Wales, only once they decide to have work formally examined.
