Nolan extends sleaze detection to colleges

NEW measures to root out sleaze and corruption in universities and colleges are being considered by the Nolan committee on standards in public life. If approved, all those associated with universities and colleges, from governors to gardeners, could be fined or imprisoned if found guilty of wilful misconduct or unlawful spending.
