Trevor Horn, the award-winning record producer, songwriter and musician, has officially opened Southampton Solent University's ?1 million recording studios. The facilities will become part of the university's degree programmes in popular music and record production, urban and electronic music and music performance. Mr Horn has produced artists including ABC, Band Aid, Pet Shop Boys and Sugababes.
