Student debt is deterring final-year undergraduates from pursuing postgraduate qualifications, according to a study published by the Office of Science and Technology.
The study found that "a substantial number of undecided finalists are primarily deterred from postgraduate study by debt". More than 2,200 students at seven research-led universities took part in the study.
