Nine Palestinian academics from Nablus and Ramallah have been held by the Palestinian Authority for signing a petition criticising the authority after the Oslo Agreements. Nine members of the Palestinian legislative council, and two previously elected mayors of Nablus and Anabta also signed the petition.
