After in-depth discussions with 91ÇÑ×Ó data experts, an editorial decision was taken to retrospectively include Yale University in the 2018 psychology subject ranking. Yale is now positioned at number?four in the subject ranking, next to Harvard University*. Our subject rankings include staff proportion and publication thresholds. For inclusion in the psychology ranking, an institution is currently required to have at least 1?per cent of its total staff body dedicated to the discipline. At the time of data submission and publication, Yale University did not meet this threshold. Having subsequently provided updated staff data, and?after consultation with 91ÇÑ×Ó data experts, an editorial decision was taken that there was valid cause for inclusion.
