AUM has two colleges: the College of Engineering and Technology and the College of Business Administration, in addition to a Liberal Arts Department and an English Preparatory Program.
The College of Engineering and Technology offers seven undergraduate Engineering programs (Architectural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering), in addition to two undergraduate technology programs (Information System Technology, and Telecommunications and Networking Technology).
Six of the programs offered by the College of Engineering and Technology are accredited by ABET, which is the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. (See more about accreditation)
The College of Business Administration offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with four concentrations (Finance, Marketing, Management Information System and Human Resources Management), in addition to a Master’s degree program in Business Administration (MBA).
AUM College of Business Administration has been fully accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. (See more about accreditation)
An Innovative Learning Environment 
AUM prepares its students to become the leaders of tomorrow and a core element of its educational philosophy is to apply “learning by creating” throughout their educational journey at AUM. In light of this, AUM innovation centers, labs, and cutting edge facilities are in place, offering groundbreaking technologies and resources that are designed to equip students, through experiential learning, with in-demand skills required by top industries.
The Research and Innovation Center at the College of Engineering and Technology includes a Robotics Center, a Nanotechnology Center, and a Capstone Center. In the College of Business Administration, a Business Innovation Center is established, comprising of: HRM Club, MIS Club, Marketing Club, Accounting Club, Finance Club, Entrepreneurship Club, and a Capstone Center.

	A Master's Degree in Physics from an internationally accredited university.

Job Description

Faculty members are engaged in teaching, services, research and professional development tasks.

Successful candidates are expected to:


	Prepare labs manuals and syllabi.
	Prepare experiments and test them.
	Deliver laboratory sessions, including pre-laboratory presentations.
	Supervise and assist students in all aspects related to the labs and the related courses.
	Assess students’ performance using the assessment tools as described in the Labs’ syllabi (quizzes, presentations, lab reports, exams, etc.).
	Strive to increase teaching effectiveness through the application of appropriate teaching and learning strategies.
	Keep record of students’ attendance.
	Prepare laboratory course portfolios for the labs by the end of each semester.
	Document information by maintaining logs and equipment record books.
	Place orders for the necessary equipment and specimens.
	Ensure compliance with the university’s safety regulations.
	Maintain a clean and safe working environment in labs.
	Assist in proctoring exams.
	Support faculty within the same specialized area in research.
	Contribute to the advancement of the professional development activities.
	Support the college and departmental wide activities and services with a spirit of leadership, commitment, accountability, and collegiality.
	Undertake any other duties as may be directed by the Head of Department.
