Founded in 1978, the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) is a regional state university serving southern Mindanao. Its main campus is in Obrero, Davao City, with additional campuses in Mintal (Davao City), Tagum-Mabini (Tagum City and Mampising, Davao de Oro), and Malabog Extension (Paquibato District, Davao City).

The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccalaureate programmes in engineering, education, arts and sciences, business, computing, governance, development, resource management, agriculture, forestry, law, accountancy, medicine, and technology. 

USeP also runs special programmes, such as the Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples Education and the College Education Behind Bars programme.
